A MAJOR SCIENTIFIC EVENT IN THE FIELD OF HEARING
This 43rd edition of the ARO meeting took place this year in San José, California and counted nearly 1820 participants and 1330 research presentations from scientists from around the globe!
A LAUREATE supported by a travel AWARD
Since 2019, Fondation Pour l'Audition has been a partner of ARO international travel awards allowing French ENT interns to participate to the event to present their work. This year, Fabian Blanc, ENT intern in Montpellier, France, was able to present his research on cochlear gene therapies.
ADVANCES IN TREATMENT FOR HEARING LOSS
For the Fondation Pour l'Audition's team present, the meeting was also an opportunity to meet Anne Schilder, ENT surgeon and professor at the National Institute for Health Research in London, UK. Discover her interview around 5 questions on the state of hearing research!

Unveilling DEAFNESS: "YOUR EYES ON MY EARS" EXHIBITION
The ARO congress also hosted the photo exhibit created with the Droit Pluriel association "Yours Eyes on My Ears" presenting different experiences on deafness and hearing aids/implants.
