How does the brain adapt when it receives an out-of-sync sound?

Sound perception involves both our ears. A sound from the right-hand side will arrive faster and stronger in the right ear than the left ear.

For his postdoctoral project supervised by Professor Christine Petit, Dr. Victor Benichoux will study how the brain adapts when our two ears receive the same sound out of sync, a situation often observed in hearing disorders.
