Drs. Jean-Francois Leger and Shihab Shamma, based at the Ecole Normale Superieure in Paris (France), are awarded 299.923 Euros for the research project entitled “Cortical Plasticity of Neuronal Ensembles in Auditory Learning and Memory“.

Drs Olivier Deguine, ENT surgeon in the departement d’Oto-Rhino-Laryngologie and Oto-Neurologie in the Purpan hospital in Toulouse, and Pascal Barone, scientist at the Centre de Recherche du Cerveau & Cognition (CNRS UMR 5549) also in Toulouse, collaborate on the research project entitled “Categorization of natural sounds by cochlear-implanted patients” funded 212.850 Euros by AGIR POUR L’AUDITION.
